The Buddha

This week I was inspired by the simplicity of Buddha paintings on the internet. I was ready for some meditation time. The idea was to spend a quite weekend finishing a painting from inception to realization in one day. This reproduction art was done using acrylics on canvas. I've been an oil painter all along but instead of waiting for the paint to dry out before adding layers, I was happy to see the finished painting in just under 3 hrs. Time well spent on a beautiful Saturday.
The next day, my colleague from work stopped by to work on a painting with me, her first one she said. When she stepped in the house, she knew what she wanted to paint. I was delighted and happy to be her teacher and see the outcome. She worked hard on it. I feel blessed.

The simplicity of a Buddha painting is such a powerful grounding tool. Just as you shifted from oil to acrylic for a faster result, modern medicine is finding ways to speed up our body's healing. I’ve been reading about advanced recovery on https://ways2well.com/blog/acl-tear-nfl-recovery-time-accelerate-healing-with-ways2well. It’s inspiring to see how science helps us "finish the painting" of our recovery much sooner, so we can get back to what we love.
